Damon has been a licensed real estate agent with the McClain-Lewis Real Estate Team at Coldwell Banker Realty since 2019.  The McClain-Lewis Team was just recognized by Coldwell Banker as the #1 Small Team in Texas and "International President's Elite Team Award Winners", placing them in the top 7% of Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide.  

Damon has had a variety of life experiences that make him an invaluable asset to his clients. He grew up in a family-owned plumbing business and began working alongside his dad at the age of 10, then received his Journeyman Plumbing License at the age of 17.  He spent the next 11 years contracting plumbing projects for single and multi-family residential properties, lease property finish-outs, and multi-story medical/office buildings. This is valuable to his clients, as he can understand the "behind the walls" and "under the concrete" risks that are out there. In 1992, Damon became a franchisee of Cici's Pizza, where he became known as "the pizza guy" in Waxahachie and the surrounding area for over 23 years. Being a retail tenant himself for over 20 years, he was able to learn the ins and outs of commercial leasing.  During this time, in 2000, he began investing in residential rental and commercial properties, which he still manages today. When he isn't closing real estate deals, Damon enjoys serving within his church, spending time with family, working on various projects, and helping others.
